There is just something about a long period swell arriving at the shoreline and it's parallel counterparts fading back into the horizon. This drawing hopes to capture the feeling of these waves as they mimic the lines of corduroy. These are the pen and ink stylings of Gene Rogovitz. This piece is part of the Salt & Sea series.  The Salt & Sea drawings are inspired by the ocean even though they sometimes take on the shape of other objects.
